Professor Wichit Srisa-an Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree from NTUST

Professor Dr Wichit Srisa-an, Chairman of Suranaree University of Technology Council, was invited to receive an honorary doctorate degree from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST), Taiwan’s first science and technology university and the 52^nd in the 2014 Times Higher Education’s Top 100 Universities in Asia, at the commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 7^th, 2014. This conferment serves as NTUST’s token of admiration and appreciation for Professor Wichit’s long, relentless, and impactful contributions to the strong tie between the two nation’s vocational and higher education, that have enabled numerous academic and research collaborations for bilateral development.

This NTUST’s honorary degree is a new addition to Professor Wichit’s already impressive list of 14 honorary degrees he has received, 4 of which from universities overseas i.e. Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, and the United Kingdom. With this honour, Professor Wichit has pledged more commitment to the prosperity of the education, especially science and technology education, of the two countries in the future.
